I. Service Description
Our service aims to reduce your medical bills by negotiating with healthcare providers on your behalf and assisting with identifying and navigating hospital and health system discount programs. We charge a fee of 20% of the total savings achieved, capped at $1,500.
II. Deposit
A $99 deposit is required upfront to initiate the service. This deposit will be applied towards any percentage of savings fees due after the service is complete. If you complete the Emry BillAssist process in its entirety and do not save at least $99, the deposit will be fully refunded to you less any amount saved.
III. Fees and Payment
- Savings Fee: 20% of the total savings, capped at $1,500.
- Deposit: $99, applied towards percentage of savings fees due and refundable if no savings are achieved.
- Payment of the percentage of savings fee is due upon confirmation of the savings achieved.
IV. Refund Policy
If the total savings achieved are less than $99, the initial deposit will be fully refunded. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the completion of the service.
V. Authorization and Liability
I hereby appoint Emry Health as my authorized personal representative and authorize them to receive and use PHI for the purpose of providing me with its services according to the terms of its agreement. With respect to this authorization and Emry Health services, I understand and agree that Emry Health provides administrative and informational services only and is not an insurer, payer, nor a provider of healthcare services and has no liability, obligation or responsibility for the provision or lack of any healthcare treatment. I will hold harmless Emry Health for any damages, losses, costs or expenses of any kind, however caused, arising out of, or in any way relating to the provision of services related to this authorization. I understand that refusal to sign this authorization form will in no way affect my right to obtain treatment, except where disclosure of such communications and records is necessary for treatment. The information disclosed pursuant to this authorization may be subject to re-disclosure and no longer protected by Federal law.

The text, images, information and other material contained on the Websites (“Content”) are proprietary to us and/or our partners and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property and proprietary rights laws. You agree not to modify, copy, distribute, or re-sell any Content or other information obtained from or through the Websites. No right, title or interest in or to the Websites or any Content is transferred to you, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved by Emry.
Limitations of Liability:
You understand and agree that neither Emry nor its suppliers or vendors are responsible for any claim, loss, or damage directly or indirectly resulting from your use of the Websites or the information resources contained or accessible through the Websites. The access to and use of the Websites and the Content is solely at your own risk. Emry assumes no liability for ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM ANY LOSS OF DATA OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE, OPERATION OR PERFORMANCE OF THE WEBSITE. You acknowledge and agree that the limitations set forth above are fundamental elements of these Terms of Use and the Websites would not be provided to you absent such limitations.

The Websites and the Content are provided on an “as is” basis. EMRY, ITS LICENSORS, AND ITS PARTNERS, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTIES’ RIGHTS, AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
II. General Terms:
Legal Provisions: If any provision of these policies is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, all other terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect. These policies and the resolution of any dispute arising hereunder shall all be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Connecticut, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. You consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of the state of Connecticut.
